The University of Sydney Foundation Program (USFP) is a one to one and a half year academic program designed to prepare international students for university study. It is equivalent to an Australian Year 12. USFP offers students a comprehensive range of key benefits and advantages - all specifically aimed at ensuring them achieve the strong academic foundation needed for them to successfully progress into the University of Sydney.
 





¢¹ Program structure

Students choose a stream of study according to what course they want to study at the university. Students are required to complete 25 credits by undertaking all compulsory subjects, and choosing up to three elective subjects. All students are required to take IT Skills/Study Life Skills for one hour per week.

¢¹ Accessment of English Language

English language proficiency is assessed within the Program and each student is awarded a grade from A to F. The "C" grade is comparable to IELTS 6.5 and is the minimum required for entry to the University of Sydney.
